Weekly Reflection
This week has been very busy. We have had Te Ao Maori and I have been helping Mrs. Harris with Te Ao Maori. I went and found her at lunch and helped get all the equipment for the game we play at Te Ao Maori. It has been so much fun working with different people and the young children. There has been a lot of kids not knowing how to play the game so I try and explain how to play. It has been so fun I can't wait for next week. We had NYLD which is where we go to Hamilton to listen to a lot of speakers to learn about leadership and I have learned a lot from these speakers. I had a lot of fun when there was a singer who came and sang one of his new songs. That was awesome. I was talking to Mrs. Harris and we were talking about how I love to draw and that I would love to get better at it and that I love to work with the little kids and she said that some of the little kids have been writing some books and she needs to illustrate them and she said to me that we might have a deal.

Thank you for your blog post Jesse. It is wonderful to read how you are enjoying Te Ao Maori and taking a leadership role in your group with Mrs Harris. What a great role model you are! I can't wait to see your illustrations for the Whenua kids books too! Go for it!
