Weekly Reflection

This week I have been bringing my togs and getting in the pool. I have been doing some of my zentangling with sam. I have done my readthoery for this week and some mangahigh.

narrative writing (The dragon)

Once there were two boys called Tom(the tallest) and his brother Jake they are tall and very nice kids they went swimming in the river and the water was moving really fast pulling them downstream, after deciding it was too dangerous to stay where they were they slowly pushed against the current and got out, the moment their feet touched the ground they felt the shaking

This all started to happen in the nice town a small town called the town of light. That is where the princess lives in her tower in the town of light. The sun here shines longer than it is meant to in this town. The ground that was shaking was because a big fire-breathing dragon came and was breathing fire every on the town. All the dragon wanted was the princess to be his wife. Tom and Jake wanted to stop this dragon and they went and got all their weapons and was shooting the dragon all over to try and stop him but it did not work.

The all and mighty dragon that was trying to get the princess to be his wife. He ran to his house and went to his dad's room in his house and got the sword that is dad had and he got that sword and stabbed the dragon in the heart and defeated the big dragon And the prince's land the boys lived happily ever after together in the big tower at the end of town.

This week I finished my 2 + Readtheory's and I have done most of my mangahigh tasks. I have done my work of the week and had fun doing it, I have done a lot this week and I would like it to stay the same until the end of the year.

My weekly reflection

This week I completed some mangahigh tasks and I got my readtheory done I have done some writing in my writing journal and my IE is done.

My dog ate my homework!

Jenna was late to school and did no homework she had a dog so Jenna blamed it on her dog stage he was a big bullmastiff huge dog, Jenna got to school and the teachers were asking for their homework but she had not done it  so she said my dog ate my homework miss Paton sorry next week maybe. Miss Paton said no making stories up where id it Janna replied my dog ate it I promise. Ok ok then next week bring your homework done and ready, will do miss Paton.

The girl who was always good.

The girl that did nothing but good. She was 32 when she passed away, but when she was here on earth she was the nice, kind, loving, caring, person. She worked at a child health center where they looked after kids health  After that she would work at night shifts at the old people's homes. And she did that every week she had lost to come, she was training to be a doctor. But on one very sad night, she was driving down the motorway and a car had got on the wrong side of the road and hit her head first, she was rushed to the hospital but it was far too late.

But then the next day she got up and walked around she was in weird place there was lava and red rock everywhere people were getting killed again and again she was so confused she did not know what was real and what was not real. She keeps saying this must be dream over and over again. Then this guy he had wings and he was red then he had horns on his head. He said to her you are in hell hahahahahahaha. She said it can't be true I did everything right noooooooooo and then she started crying. He vanished into mid-air he was gone she did not know what do then she just walks and walks till she could not walk anymore.

He is gone

there lived a family in the cabin down by the lake in the old town called river dale it was one dark and cold night at the old cabin and it was Julia's bedtime she was 11 and she had long brown hair and she had two big blue eyes. As she was laying in her warm bed she kept hearing a banging coming from outside so she got up and went to check it out, the door was wide open so she put her coat and boots on and went outside there was nothing but footprints in the snow that went deep into the forest….

BOOM CRASH went something down the old track to the forest, so I ran I ran as fast as I could down the old track the wind was has cold as ice, I was freezing! There were old cans on the track they were soup can at that moment I heard a voice it was a very silent voice but it sounds like it said keep going and you will see what lays ahead so I kept going there was the lake on the lake was an old man, I screamed then I ran back home and laid back in bed and closed my eyes and hoped that my mum and dad would come home and that the old man would leave me alone.

The next morning I woke up and ran to my mum and dads room and there they were, They were laying down in their beds sleeping I jumped on them and said where did u go last night I was scared and worried and they replied we were here the whole time what do you mean darling. You must have had a bad dream, Oh I said.

This week I have done some manga high and I have done my two blog posts for this week I have done my readothery and my word of the week.

Descriptive writing

Once there lived a boy called Role Bolt Bogers. He was a very creepy boy. He was mean and never cared about anyone. He had big blue ears and he had brown shoes. He had scratches all over him.  He got them from always fighting people. He has eyes that are hypnotizing and if you get hypnotized you may do things you have never done. He has a good side to him. You may be lucky to even see that side. His good side is that he likes puppies and was once a cat. He loves his red parrot his name is Elf.

Weekly Reflection

Resilience: I used resilience in my learning when I had to wait for the teacher in my science workshop.

Connecting: I connected with my class mates in science when we were making a cloud and Kate is doing her IE on clouds and I am doing my IE on rainbows.

Creativity: made a made up character called role bolt boogers and had made him on paper with color added to his body.

Being me: for being me I have been kind to the little children from Moana Nui.

Curiosity: I am very curious about rainbows and how they are in fairy tails and how they form and what they are.

Poem

The sky is blue the wind is as cold as ice the sea waters are icy blue and the children are singing to the wonderful woman of the challenging world. We wait we look off into the so called world we wait to see what will come. Listen to the voices on the road to success. Never give up the ways of life with take you to your road.

You will be happy remind yourself every day of all the nice and kind hearted people but don’t forget about the people that can hurt you and will challenge you to not everyone is nice but they have their reasons but some don’t you have to treat them differently but is okay.

Character descriptive writing

I am going talk about my family. Well, my Dad, he is bald, fat and a cold hearted man. He is very, very mean. All he does is sit in his lazy boy all day long and my mum is the total opposite. She is very skinny and she has nice wavy blond hair she is soo nice.

Then there is me. I am the one that sits in the corner with no friends. I have hair as red as a tomato and I am as cold as ice all the time. I always wear a blue sweater and some black pants with red gum boots and that's what I wear most of the time.

I guess my family is not perfect but is good at least for me. I love my family and this how I want my family to stay and that is my family.

Cancer

can we help cure cancer? That’s my question because cancer hurt a lot of people and does more than hurt the people that it is given to it’s hurting the families too. Have you ever had a family member or yourself even that has or is going through with cancer? There are many types of cancer.

My dad had skin cancer but it was not that bad he had to put cream on his neck and face every morning it was hard to see my dad like this but it is probably not as bad as other people. Would you be scared, sad, angry or happy to have cancer I don't know but I think I would be scared and sad.

Many people all over the world have cancer and some people are trying to find a way to cure cancer and still have not found it. I give respect to those people because they are doing something for someone they don’t even know.

Something I have done this week is I have learned some more stuff in mangahigh I am getting higher in mangahigh.I got a metal on something that I found harder than usual. I have done something's on my writing bingo. I have been trying to keep up with my work I am finding it hard I need to work on something like working away from my friend to get more done.

Speech for Persuasive Writing

Hi, I am Jesse and here is my speech about endangered animals. Do you ever think how could we help more with the endangered animals, if you do well here is some of the things that I have come up with, we could make some of the land that they are on more protected and not cut as many trees down I know that we need the trees to but what about them are we taking over their homes well my answer to that is yes so we need to stop that from happening so there are more of the same and more of the difference in the world. Weekly Reflection

 This week I got three gold medals on mangahigh and I am very proud of myself I have been taking workshops with Miss Coles to get better I have been taking my time and have been thinking about the question more.I have been reading all I can for book bash I have completed one more week's worth of book bash.

Work of the week

As I watch the Matariki stars shimmer in the sky I smiled it made me happy it made me think of the seven sisters.

Hi my name is Jade and I am 12 and I am a loudspeaker, I say what I feel and I like to write a lot of stories about stuff like my feelings and my thoughts. Do you ever think why is the sky blue why is not green,white or brown and do you ever think why is the ground green and brown why can't it be pink or rainbow?

My mum had to buy me this book to write in so that she could think without me making her confused. Here is what I think, I think that there are so many things in this world but why are they all different and all the same some times thing in this world make me confused but just look way I don't need know the like this is supposed to be or I don't any more do you know I don't do you know why the world it so crawl but then so good.

I would like to talk about I do this well I don't really every thing just comes to my mind it just happens I love the things I do I love things do I think all the time about what I say what didn't what could of said I love write and worries I don't this how I think and my name is Jade and this I am.

I am learning to learn a new language and I finished animals I learned it to the top I am able to say some word in French now it is very interesting here is a photo to show that I have. I all so have been doing some mangahigh and got a gold metal.

The girl next door
One day there was a little girl but not any ordinary girl she was special
She was one of a kind I tell ya you are probably dieing inside wanting to know what she looked like well….      


She had long I mean long black hair it was ever so beautiful it very strategy she would always sing but the this that made her the most special is that she was a witch, yes you probably don’t believe me but I never lie I may seem creepy but have seen her she lives next door to me.



 I saw her make a  chicken nugget waddle funny write. She as bad and good magic.
 one day I sneaked over to her home and I saw her lifting up her brother's tv and it went up into the crusty roof and the brother cried all day long till the sun came up. When I saw that she do here magical stuff I freaked out so I had to investigate write that is what i think anyway that's what I did. She court me when was saw one day but nowwe are the best best friend.

The Rainbow Potatos Scientific Method-Balloon Magic

🐔🦄Scientific Method-Balloon Magic🦄🐔

	How big will the balloon get? Will the balloon pop? 🎉
	`We think that the vinegar and baking soda will make a gas that blows up the balloon
	Materials: -Balloon -Baking Soda -Vinegar -Plastic Bottle -Funnel -Spoon FIrst use the funnel to add the baking soda to the balloon. Then put the vinegar in the bottle. Carefully put the balloon over the top of the bottle. Once you are ready lift the balloon upwards tipping the baking soda into the vinegar and watch what happens.

	The baking soda mixed with the vinegar blows up the balloon.💦
	The vinegar acts as an acid and the baking soda acts as a base, so when mixed together they create a gas (Carbon Dioxide) which gets trapped in the bottle which eventually blows up the balloon.

I have been doing some learning about coral reefs we just did a presentation about it and now I am reflecting on what I have done and what I should have done.

For the space lovers a 4.6 billion-year-old meteorite is for sale wow yes I know crazy right they are selling it in the well known new York city. Christie's auction home in new York is selling the rare rock from out of space.

There is an online auction that is going on until Wednesday The 10th of may. Tthat is when it will end.

Last term I had netball trials and it was so much fun I learned some new things about netball and when I was there I had to get my uniform my uniform is black and white. The things we did was like played a game of netball in different positions and that was fun to the people that was grading the people on the court was writing thing down in a book it was a bit scary but I got over it then we had brake I got into a team called storm it has all my friend in it so I am happy we all work together so that is good I like to play netball that is my passion. We play netball at the ngatea courts we play on Wednesdays.
